Frage How can I change the AWOMO directory?

I keep my C: partition small, for system and most important programs/documents (for fast backup/restore if needed) and
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\Application Data\GDP\Cache\AWOMO" would eventually get pretty big (Rome: Total War alone would eventually take up to 3 244 MB)
I have plenty of space on my other partitions/disks.

Is there a way to change the download destination?

Hi there, at present the cache location can't be changed, though this is on the feature list for a future revision.

It's a great annoyance currrently, we know.

It is basically like a symlink.

Though, it really shouldn't be *that* hard to make it a configurable option to change the write directory!

Can you tell me when this feature would be in the program (next beta, or 22th beta... ). Because I have a 200Gb harddrive, and for the system I gave 20GB. And with every program I use there's no place to install any games (and I would really like to try the Tomb Raider Legend game :P ). I use a different partition for games, and would install this game there too....

Not able to chose directory it is a real problem for me. I cant download TR cos I always spend only 10 GB for system disk and only 5 GB left. Please do something with that as fast as you can.
Thx.

Lächeln Apply migration with this new option

Please when you apply the directory changing option, please also apply a migration option for the already downloaded datas. For example technically I have enough space, but not so much more, or anybody anytime could need to move this 7 GB data mass to another partition or disk avoiding re-download.

However AWOMO is a great idea!

Actually, it's already easy to move the files to different locations and then back again as needed. You just can't play the game if you've moved it from the default location. The main issue with it is that the location of the cache files is different depending on whether you're using XP or Vista.

Here where the AWOMO cache files are kept:

XP
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GDP\Cache\AWOMO

Vista
C:\ProgramData\GDP\Cache\AWOMO\

Make sure the folder options in Explorer are set to view hidden files and folders.
